The wealthy country houses used to have farmland. Our pla was a segregate area from El Reixac’s farmland.
Now, it is a nice place to play with kids and is located in the lower part of the complex. There is a light carriage with a horse that has become a great toy for children. You can also play badminton or boules.
The cobert is located at the edge of the feixa and was designed like a shelter in order to be used as a place to gather at dusk or in rainy days.
The cobert is supplied with barbecues, a kitchen with oven, a washing machine and a fridge where guests can usually find soft-drinks they can have as they leave the corresponding price at the cash.
For leisure time you will find at the cobert board games, a TV, a projector you can use to watch movies and a piano. It is a nice place to meet with the other guests of El Reixac.
The Paleolithic cabin is a complex for children that consists of a cave with cave paintings and a cabin in its outside.
The swimming pool is 5,5m wide and 1,2m deep and has been built to be used by El Reixac’s guests as an alternative to having a swim in the river.
Kids have to be always watched and accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their safety.
Facilities must be used properly.
Feixa is the name given to the terraced farmland delimited with dry stone located in the mountain’s slope. It was usually built by poor country houses, during hunger crises or as a consequence of demographic pressure.
Our feixa was recovered from a non-interesting edge to be used as a recreation area where El Reixac’s guests can enjoy their leisure time and have a picnic. A wooden flooring was used to widen the area and supply it with a viepoint.
At one of the feixa’s edge the cobert, a polyvalent space, can be found.
